A water-land-cloud mask based on analysis of the atmospherically corrected scene on water, land and cloud specific spectral properties is also delivered. The product is initially provided for the region of Hamburg. The albedo product consists of the Sentinel-2 Level 1C bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8a, 11, and 12 at 10 m spatial resolution, where a change of 1 digit is equivalent to a change of 0.0001 (0.01 %) in reflectance. The mask product has 10 m spatial resolution with values 0 (land), 1 (water), and 2 (cloud). • As an example of its on-demand remote sensing services and the need for analysis-ready data as expressed by many users, the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG) designed a high-quality mosaic that covers the area of Germany. The mosaic consists of multiple Sentinel-2 orthorectified images that have been radiometrically colour-balanced to a uniform appearance – annual updates of the mosaic are intended. The product has the following basic characteristics: five-bands (both true color and false color composites), 10m spatial resolution, seamless and cloud-free (less than 3% cloud cover), 8-bit image depth.
