LGRB-BW GTO: Höhlen

Baden-Württemberg ist aufgrund seines hohen Anteils an verkarstungsfähigen Gesteinen besonders reich an Höhlen und natürlichen Hohlräumen. Es handelt sich dabei vorwiegend um Kalksteine des Muschelkalks und des Oberjura, in denen z. T. ausgedehnte Höhlensysteme entstanden sind. Zahlreiche dieser Höhlen wurden geotouristisch erschlossen und sind seit vielen Jahrzehnten beliebte und häufig besuchte Geo-Ziele.
