Geländepunkte sind Einzelpunkte wie z.B. Brückenbreitenpunkte oder bestimmte Punk-te an komplexen Bauwerken. Diese können Bestandteil eines Verbundprofils sein. In die-sem Fall liegen die Punkte als Teilprofile innerhalb des übergeordneten Profils vor. Dane-ben existieren noch Einzelpunkte, welche nicht in ein Profil integriert sind. Diesen ist eineigener Profilnamen zugeordnet.
