Die DTK50 präsentiert ausgewählte Inhalte des DLM50 (Vegetation, Siedlung, Verkehr, Gewässer, Landbedeckung, Landnutzung und Geographische Bezeichnungen), sowie Gebäudedarstellungen und Reliefinformationen (in der Graustufenkombination nicht enthalten) entsprechend der Vorgaben und Ableitungsregeln des Signaturenkatalogs 1:50 000 (SK50) der AdV in generalisierter Form.
